Fontana was born from a quiet question: how do children find answers when they lose their parents?
I wanted to explore grief, memory, and healing through the eyes of an eleven-year-old girl who, despite the loss of her parents, finds the strength to navigate her world in her own unique way. As the girl's silence and the void it created became a language of their own, imagination emerged as a powerful bridge between the visible and the invisible, a coping mechanism in the face of loss.
The fountain in the story is not merely a magical object; it is a metaphor for memory. It symbolises how love, once lost, continues to reverberate and resurface in unexpected ways.
Stojan Radić
